Germany added 2.28 gigawatts of onshore wind powerthrough June 30, over 10 percent more than a year ago, the BWE industryfederation said Thursday in Berlin.
The added capacity means onshore wind now accounts foralmost a quarter of all power capacity -- or 48 gigawatts -- in Europe’sbiggest economy.
