Norwegian state-owned power company Statkraft SF has awarded a 11.9 million dollar hydropower refurbishment contract to GE Hydro, a unit of GE Power Systems.
This is the largest turbine upgrade contract in Statkraft's history, covering the refurbishment of five hydropower plants and 770 megawatts of capacity.
