Electricité de France (EDF) signed an agreement to acquire UK regional energy supplier Seeboard Plc from American Electric Power Corp (AEP) for 1.39 billion pounds (2.17 billion euros).
EDF's subsidiary London Electricity Group Plc (LE Group) is the formal buyer of Seeboard, AEP said in a statement.
