The previously planned operating time for Vattenfall’sreactors was at least 50 years.
The extensive upgrade of the nuclear reactors in Forsmarkand Ringhals means that Vattenfall can now plan for new operating times for the seven reactors.

Vattenfall AB said that it is now planning for an operating time of up to 60 years for five of its nuclear reactors and 50 years for two reactors.
