Powergen has announced four new initiatives within the field of renewable energy which will mean an investment of GBP 120m this year.
The company will bring together its biomass, wind and hydro businesses in its Powergen Renewables unit, which until now has been a wind-only business with a portfolio of 16 wind farms.
