German environment minister, Jürgen Trittin has stopped a study by the German nuclear surveillance authority concerning the European Pressurised Reactor (EPR), VWD news agency reported.
The research project was set up eight years ago to establish new security requirements for future nuclear power plants with pressurised water reactors.
