Edison SpA said it sold its half of a large Egyptian offshore gas field concession to Petronas of Malaysia for 1.6 billion euros, the Financial Times reported.
BG Group Plc of the UK owns the other half and operates the field, which Petronas yesterday said had an estimated 13,600 billion cubic feet of reserves.
