Aker Kvaerner ASA said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hitachi America, Ltd. to construct a 790 megawatt power plant in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for MidAmerican Energies.
The potential value of the contract is approximately 300 million dollars.
