Rec's profit before tax fell 48% to NOK 327m in 1Q (634)

Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (Rec) reported a pretax profit of NOK 327 (634) million in the first quarter 2008.

Profit after tax was NOK 211 million, compared to NOK 428 million in the same period last year and to NOK 415 million in the fourth quarter 2007.
