On July 1, 2010, Parliament approved TVO's application to construct a fourth nuclear power plant unit (OL4) in Olkiluoto.
TVO continued preparations for the OL4 nuclear power plant project. Engineering with the potential plant suppliers to clarify licensability and constructability of the plant alternatives proceeded, as did also the procurement process aiming at the plant selection.
