German multi-utility group RWE AG said it appointed Harry Roels as new chief executive officer, effective as of February 1, 2003.
At its meeting Thursday, the supervisory board of RWE AG unanimously elected Roels as a member of the executive Board and appointed him as chairman of the executive board.
