SHIPOWNERS WANT TO TRADE IN EMISSION RIGHTS. Emissions of sulphur and nitrogen from European ships can be cut through trading in emission rights. This is according to the Swedish Shipowners’ Association, which has submitted a proposal to the European Commission.
