International Power net income rose 44,5% to GBP 477m

International Power Plc said its 2006 net income rose 45,5 percent to 477 million pounds compared with 330 million pounds the previous year.

Net income exclusing exceptional items rose to GBP 403 million (266), the London-based energy group said.
