Iberdrola SA said it agreed to acquire US-based company Energy East for 6.4 billion euros including debt.
The bards of Iberdrola and Energy East, at yesterday’s meetings in Madrid and New York, respectively, agreed on the integration of Energy East in the Group Iberdrola, whereby the Madrid, Spain-based energy group will acquire 100 percent of Energy East.
