The Bundesnetzagentur has identified three gas- and coal-fired power plants with a combined capacity of 1,009 MW as a reserve to stabilize the grid, in addition to an Austrian reserve capacity of 1,075 MW, said Matthias Kurth, the head of the Bundesnetzagentur.
