Alstom SA, a French engineering company, is planning to buy the power plant business of ABB, the Swiss-Swedish electrical engineering company, Wirtschaftswoche reported without citing sources.
According to the German magazine, the companies are close to the signing of the contract, and the official announcement will be made within two weeks.
