The European commission has given the green light to the construction of a new Finnish nuclear power plant.
Acting in accordance with the provisions of the Euratom Treaty, the European commission has today given its favourable opinion on the establishment of a new nuclear power plant in Finland and has communicated this opinion to the Finnish authorities.
