Eon AG said that major progress has been made in the negotiations on an asset swap between Russian gas company OAO Gazprom and Eon.
The parties have agreed to a framework of which Eon will acquire a stake in the west Siberian gas field Yuzhno Russkoye and Gazprom will acquire stakes in Eon assets in western and central Europe.
