The EIB saidearlier this month sales of as much as 300 million permits from the so-calledNew Entrants Reserve will commence with over-the-counter transactions and thenother channels, including exchanges and auctions.
EIB selects ICE and EEX for permits
The European Investment Bank awarded a contract to sell European Union emissions allowances from a special reserve to Intercontinental Exchange Inc.’s ICE Futures Europe and to European Energy Exchange AG, Bloomberg News reported.
