Four million allowanceswill be sold in separate auctions later this year. The other 4 million permitswill be offered in 2012, the registry said, according to Bloomberg News.
The 8 million allowance are thebalance of 16 million allowances the Dutch government planned to sell duringthe 2008-2012 trading period of the EU emissions trading system.
