On 30 December, the 2011 Mid Dec future contract settled at EUR 14.17 per EUA and the 2012 future contract at EUR 14.60 per EUA.
EEX carbon emission allowances fell to 76,700 in Dec
A total of 76,700 EU Allowances (EUA) was traded on the secondary market of the EEX Spot Market for CO2 Emission Allowances in December, compared with 1,060,590 in the same month last year.
