DUTCH ENERGY DISTRIBUTOR DELTA announces plans for a 5 kilometre tunnel under the Westerschelde. Together with the province of Zeeland and Zeeland Seaports DELTA is studying a tunnel that is exclusively to be used for transport of gas, electricity, drinking water and also for industrial related material.
