The building of renewable power plants in the Netherlands is being frustrated by a shortage of high-tension grid capacity, Dutch daily De Volkskrant reported.
The paper said space for electricity transmission has been reserved for a number of new large coal-fired plants, and there is no room for more wind turbines or combined heat and power (CHP) plants.
