UK-Belgium 700-1300 MW interconnector to be considered

Transmission system operators Elia and National Grid consider a new 700- 1300 MW electricity interconnector between Belgium and the UK.

A joint development agreement has been signed between the TSO’s to investigate the potential for a 700 to 1,300 megawatt (MW) electricity interconnector between the countries.

This
