The plan launched by Eon, Vattenfall and EnBW is different from a proposal to create a grid company called Netz AG, which would bundle management of the country’s power transmission units while retaining ownership for the utilities, Bloomberg News said.
German power-grid owners to cooperate on balancing
Eon AG, Vattenfall Europe AG and EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG will cooperate to balance electricity transmission over their networks, Vattenfall said in a statement.
