Austria's dominant electricity company, Verbund has rejected a second application from Enron Europe for transit through its grid, Power in Europe reported. Verbund claimed that it had no available capacity to carry the requested 100 MW from Germany through Austria to Italy from May 10-30, as the 220 kV network was fully committed under existing contracts.
