Electricity trading volume on the European Energy Exchange (EEX) in August 2008 totalled 74.6 TWh, compared with 94.3 TWh in August 2007.
This includes 11,803,170 MWh (8,975,570) traded on the electricity Spot Market, where the average base load price (Phelix Base Month) for the month was 61.76
