Electricity trading volume on the European Energy Exchange (EEX) in May 2008 totalled 134.7 TWh, compared with 110.9 TWh in May 2007.
This includes 11,635,194 MWh (8,927,899) traded on the electricity Spot Market, where the average base load price (Phelix Base Month) for the month was 56.24
