Electricity trading volume on the European Energy Exchange (EEX) in January 2008 totalled 123.5 TWh, compared with 116.4 TWh in January 2007.
This includes 14,246,135 MWh (11,602,173) traded on the electricity Spot Market, where the average base load price (Phelix Base Month) for the month was 56.00
