Electricity trading volume on the European Energy Exchange (EEX) in April 2008 totalled 114.6 TWh, compared with 84.2 TWh in April 2007.
This includes 12,531,570 MWh (April 2007: 9,087,753 MWh) traded on the electricity Spot Market, where the average base load price (Phelix Base Month) for the month was 67.46
