On the spotmarket a total of 2.44 million EUA was traded in July. The volume included 238,000EUA (56,821) on the secondary spot market and 2.2 million EUA from the primarymarket auction.

European Energy Exchange (EEX) said that the volume of CO2 emission allowances fell by 44 percent to 7.28 million tonnes in February, compared with 12.93 million tonnes in the same month last year.
