Allowancesadvance to their highest since January 15 as EU nations consider further measures totighten permit supply. The aggregate traded volume almost tripled Tuesday to50.9 tonnes, Bloomberg News reported.
“Thereseems to be a growing number of countries dissatisfied with the low EUallowance price,” Espen Andreassen, a carbon analyst for Markedskraft, told thenews service.
