British Energy Plc.'s credit rating was downgraded to "BBB+" from "A-" by global rating agency Fitch Ratings.
The ratings action follows British Energy's recent announcement that the company will not meet its previously forecasted volume output of 69 TWh for fiscal year 2003 due to the rescheduling of two statutory outages.
