From anintraday low of 4,69 euros a tonne, prices improved slightly to close at 4,96euros and 4.99 euros, respectively, for the December-2016 and December 2017contracts.
The 2016contract fell more than 12 percent from Thursday to Friday, and has not been traded below 5 euros a tonne onthe ICE exchange in London since March 22.
