Temperaturene har ligget under normale nivåer i en ukes tid, og meteorologene tror dette kan vedvare ut måneden. I fravær av vind, må bortfallet av vindkraft kompenseres med annen strømproduksjon. Strømmarkedet handles i euro, så den stadig svakere norske krona, gjør at prisendringene gjennom uken er marginale, målt i norske kroner. Bare i mars har krona svekket seg med to prosent mot euro.
