While most rooftop solar systems in Germany still feed power exclusively into the grid, battery sales are growing, the economy ministry’s Renewal Energy Agency said, according to Bloomberg News.
Sales rose an average 13 percent across Germany’s 16 states in 2014 and are set to accelerate, the Berlin-based organization said.
