Horizon Nuclear Power has chosen Menter Newydd, ajoint venture of Hitachi Nuclear Energy Europe, Bechtel Management Company andJGC Corporation, to construct the Wylfa Newydd nuclear facility.
Horizon has suggested to build a power station,comprising two nuclear reactors with a minimum generating capacity of around2,700 megawatts, at Wylfa on the Isle of Anglesey.
