The priceof the December 2016 contract in carbon allowances fell 8 cents, or about 1,2 percent,to 6.41 euros a tonne on the ICE Europe Futures exchange on Friday.
Carbonprices fell the whole week, except Friday, as power contracts surged before acold snap next week and amid nuclear station outages, Bloomberg News reported.
