Norwegian companies Akershus Energi, Østfold Energi and Vardar want, through talks with Fortum, to acquire Haflsund's power generation assets, newspaper Dagens Næringsliv reported.
"Fortum is our best hope. We have got in touch with the Finns, but we have not agreed to meet yet," says Akershus chairman Kjell Berge.
