German electricity utilities Bayernwerk and Metro have joined forces to form a trading company, the companies announced in a press release this afternoon.
The new company, EuroPower Energy GmbH, which will be based in Frankfurt, will first aim at supplying industrial and commercial customers having an annual electricity bill of more than DEM 60,000, the companies said.
