Fortum Oyj is against the sale of Hafslund ASA's generation assets to three regional Norwegian companies.
"Splitting the company is a major issue. We trust Hafslund's management, according to whom the generation is an important part of the company strategy," Fortum CEO Mikael Lilius told Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri.
