TheDepartment of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) said in 2012 that its CCSprogram would require 2 billion pounds to 6 billion pounds in capital andoperational costs over 15 years to test technology that takes emissions thatcause global warming and sequester them underground, Bloomberg News reported.
