The recent UNA take-over is seriously affecting the Dutch debate on stranded costs. The relatively high price of 4,5 billion Guilders (9.9 billion Euros) is seen by many Dutch members of Parliament as an indication that the four production companies are financially much stronger than has been assumed up to now.
